The Jewish cultural heritage is an important part of the city of Trenčín, therefore it is also an integral part of the candidacy for the ECoC. We are thankful to Jewish religious community for their activities and we are very much looking forward to the reconstruction of the synagogue. Now it is the right time to take another step towards Europe, for example through membership of the European Route of Jewish Heritage.
We recently spoke with the director and project manager of the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage about opportunities for involvement, membership and joint activities. We can already tell you that we are very much looking forward to working with them.
