Meetings of the cultural community
Meetings of the cultural community in the Trenčín region serve to connect the cultural community from the entire region. They provide a space for discussions on improving the conditions for culture and the creative industry in the region, as well as the opportunities and challenges brought by the European Capital of Culture project Trenčín 2026.

What does education for cultural professionals in Trenčín look like? What do people who have participated in it say?
On June 29th, at the Cultural Community Meeting, we had the opportunity to learn more about the educational program Runway | Culture Professionals.
Several successful participants shared their experiences with us. They were followed by lectures and workshops that provided insights into how the program is structured. Visitors had the chance to learn about the various educational offerings, when they start, and how to get involved.
The theme of the lectures and workshop was "Building bridges: Connecting communities through cultural initiatives." The Zlín Gallery G18 presented examples of communication and audience engagement, and the Budapest100 festival shared a case study. They inspired us with examples of developing relationships, supporting inclusive approaches, and connecting cultural heritage with contemporary life.
Runway | Culture Professionals is a great opportunity for people in the cultural sector who want to take their organizations and projects to an international level, thereby improving the cultural offerings in Trenčín and the region in the long run.
