Outreach Manager
of the Creative Institute Trenčín

We are looking for an important person to join our team who will ensure and guarantee the correct procedure in public procurement. Join us if you know the relevant legislation, have experience in the field of VO and would like to contribute to the implementation of this unique project.  


To be directly at the preparation of the European Capital of Culture is a unique and historic opportunity. Trenčín is only the second city in Slovakia to hold this title. In the coming years, we will learn a lot, travel and get to know other European Capitals of Culture and gather inspiration for Trenčín 2026. You can work with us even if you are not from Trenčín or its surroundings. We like and often use work from home and organize meetings hybridly. 



What will be your main tasks? 


  • comprehensively ensures the process of procurement of goods and services 

  • responsible for the preparation and organization of the assigned procurement 

  • ensures the processing of documents with departments for which procurement is ensured 

  • cooperates with departments in the preparation and procurement process 

  • ensuring the processes of announcing orders, evaluating offers, preparing contracts for conclusion and their publication 

  • evaluates the fulfillment of the conditions for the participation of interested parties in public procurement 

  • ensures the approval and conclusion of the contract for the procurement of the order according to the results of public procurement 

  • proposes the public procurement procedure for individual orders  

  • ensures publication of information in accordance with applicable legislation 

  • is responsible for the processing and completeness of written procurement documentation in accordance with valid external and internal regulations 

  • ensuring electronic communication through a certified electronic system with interested parties/applicants during the entire public procurement process 

  • completion of the entire documentation VO 

  • participates in regular team meetings 

  • coordination of activities in relation to the budget 


The ideal candidate has: 

  • at least one year of active procurement experience in accordance with Act 343/2015 Coll. on public procurement 

  • communication and organizational skills at an advanced level 

  • responsibility 

  • reliability 

  • precision 

  • flexibility in thinking (adaptability, flexibility)  

  • ability to see things through
