Outreach Manager
of the Creative Institute Trenčín

We are looking for an experienced and consistent person to join our team, who will take care of the smooth management of processes, the office and the team of the Creative Institute Trenčín. 


To be directly at the preparation of the European Capital of Culture is a unique and historic opportunity. Trenčín is only the second city in Slovakia to hold this title. In the coming years, we will learn a lot, travel and get to know other European Capitals of Culture and gather inspiration for Trenčín 2026. You can work with us even if you are not from Trenčín or its surroundings. We like and often use work from home and organize meetings hybridly. 


What will be your main tasks? 

  • Management of a team of 30-60 people in a dynamic, developing organization

  • Ensure that all processes are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective manner. 

  • Improve operational management systems, processes and bring best practices throughout the organization. 

  • Purchase of equipment, material, services and technology, inventory planning and supervision of warehouse efficiency. 

  • Help with maintaining compliance of the organization's processes with legal regulations. 

  • Formulate strategic and operational goals. 

  • Examine financial data and use it to improve efficiency. 

  • Manage operating budgets and forecasts. 

  • To be the link between the monitoring team and the CIT program team (communication in English). 

  • Management and cooperation with the HR Manager.  

  • Finding ways to increase the quality of the organization's activities. 

  • If necessary, act on behalf of the general director. 

The ideal candidate has: 

  • university education II. degree

  • demonstrable work experience in the position of operations manager or in a similar position, 

  • knowledge of organizational efficiency and organization management, 

  • experience with budgeting and forecasts, 

  • knowledge of labor law and financial principles, ideally in the public sector, 

  • excellent communication skills, 

  • the ability to lead people, 

  • excellent organizational skills, 

  • flexibility of thinking and the ability to bring creative solutions, 

  • fluent communication in English, 

  • a higher education in business, operational management or a related field may be an advantage

  • €1800 gross per month(frombasic salary)
