Trenčín is gradually opening up to Europe and the world. That's why we've prepared a free English course for the people of Trenčín who are involved in culture and tourism. Get ready for 2026!
Who is the course for?
The program is designed for 50 people working in the fields of culture or tourism who want to improve their professional English skills across various topics (see below). This includes individuals working in culture and the gastronomy sector, managers, as well as artists. The course primarily targets people from Trenčín and the Trenčín region.
What specific English topics will the course cover?
→ Presenting your organization, project, and yourself
→ Preparing project documentation
→ Enhancing conversational skills and expanding vocabulary
→ Networking in an international environment
→ Presentations and videoconferences
→ Case studies in culture and project management
How will it work practically?
First, you need to register, and it's essential to do so before reaching the maximum number of 100 registrants. From these, we will select 50 people who will participate in the language course. The registration form opens on August 19, 2024. The earlier you sign up, the better your chances of getting into the course.
Graduates of the previous course can also register. Attendance from the previous course will be taken into account during selection.
Selected participants will be contacted by September 6, 2024. In September, they will take an entry test, after which they will be divided into groups of up to five people according to their language level.
The training will take place from October 2024 to June 2025 once a week in the premises of KC Aktivity, o.z., Kyjevská 3183, 911 08 Trenčín Juh.The language course is provided by Eloqua, s.r.o. .
